Security for your visit to the Theatre

UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION AND MEASURES FOR YOUR VISIT TO THE Performance

Dear visitors,

We are delighted to be able to welcome you personally to all our houses!

In order for these encounters to take place, we would like to prepare you for your theatre and concert visit with the following information so that you can experience a relaxed, enjoyable and at the same time safe evening with us. Please also plan a little more time than usual for your visit and come to our performances a little earlier. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding!

Your Landestheater Linz

THE MOST IMPORTANT AT A GLANCE

The 2-G rule and the 2-G plus rule

The 2-G Plus Rule applies to all performances in the Musiktheater (Großer Saal, BlackBox, Orchestersaal, FoyerBühne).

Entry is only possible for persons with proof of vaccination (also third vaccination!) or proof of recovery and in both cases plus an additional valid PCR test (validity PCR test: 72 hours).

For all performances in the venues on the Promenade (Schauspielhaus, Kammerspiele, Studiobühne, Unteres Vestibül), the 2-G rule (proof of vaccination or recovery) continues to apply.

If the relevant proof is not available or not presented, no admission may be granted without exception.

PCR tests are currently available in public testing centres, pharmacies and as gargle tests for home use. Depending on the workload of the laboratories, the evaluation of the tests may take 24 hours or longer. We therefore ask you to make an appointment for a test in good time, as we are unfortunately not allowed to grant access without a valid PCR text due to legal requirements. You can find more detailed information at ooe.oesterreich-testet.at.

Collection of contact data

According to the regulation of the Federal Minister for Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection, the Landestheater Linz is obliged to collect personal data for the purpose of contact tracing, to keep it for a period of 28 days from the date of its collection. Please hand in the registration form when entering the houses. You can download the form here or fill it out on site.

Please reserve a table in advance by emailing musiktheater.pause@don.at or calling +43 732 7611-959 (Monday to Sunday from 1pm to 5pm). Your drinks will be paid for on site in cash or by card and you can enjoy your glass of sparkling wine in peace. The only important thing here is that you consume your drinks or snack exclusively at the place reserved for you.

We ask for your understanding that, due to the current regulations, no catering will be possible in the enjoyment foyers in our houses on the Promenade from Monday, 15 November 2021 onwards!

THE 2-G RULE | the 2-G plus rule

The 2-G Rule

VACCINATED

As proof of vaccination, appropriate evidence such as a valid vaccination certificate, an officially recognised vaccination certificate or a vaccination card must be brought and presented. The following deadlines or proofs apply in detail.

Proof of a vaccination against COVID-19 carried out with a centrally approved vaccine.

(a) Second vaccination, whereby this must not have taken place more than 270 days previously and at least 14 days must have elapsed between the first and second vaccination.

(b) vaccination from the 22nd day after vaccination for vaccines for which only one vaccination is scheduled, not exceeding 270 days.

Note: Vaccination certificates for one dose with Janssen lose their validity on 3 January 2022. Therefore, a 2nd dose is required at the earliest 14 days after the 1st dose in order to continue to receive a valid vaccination certificate.

(c) Vaccination, provided that a positive molecular biology test or evidence of neutralising antibodies was available at least 21 days prior to vaccination, but not more than 270 days prior to vaccination.

(d) Vaccination with a 3rd dose: After receipt of a further vaccination, the period of validity of the proof of vaccination shall again be 270 days. At least 14 days must elapse between this vaccination and an immunisation schedule involving only one vaccination. For all other vaccination schedules, at least 120 days must have elapsed.

The obligation to present proof of 2G likewise does not apply to persons who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons. In such cases, proof from an authorised body of a negative PCR test, which must not be older than 72 hours, must be presented together with a medical certificate.

RECOVERED

Persons who have already been infected with SARS-CoV-2 can prove this with a valid certificate of recovery or a certificate of seclusion or medical confirmation. The proof of recovery is valid for 180 days.

THE 2-G plus RULE

In addition to a vaccination or convalescent certificate, a valid PCR test (validity period 72 hours) must be presented for admission in both cases. A PCR test is also required if a third vaccination has already been given.

CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

No proof is required for children up to the start of compulsory schooling.

Children and young people of school age (incl. 9th grade) have access to all our performances with the School Ninja Pass and the Holiday Ninja Pass. If the test intervals (3 tests per week, of which at least 2 PCR tests) are adhered to, the Ninja Pass is also valid as proof on Friday, Saturday and Sunday or during holidays. Both passes are equivalent to a 2-G plus proof and a 2G proof.

We therefore request that you ideally have a PCR test carried out in good time for children of school age.

If, in individual cases, a PCR test proof cannot be presented due to an untimely evaluation (longer than 24 hours) or lack of availability, the proof of an antigen test is permissible instead as an exception.

All details can be found here and here.

After completing the ninth year of school, 2-G plus proof (Musiktheater) or 2-G proof (venues on the Promenade) is required, as for adults.

Children under the age of 6 are exempt from the mask requirement.

Children from the completed sixth to the completed 14th year of age must wear a mouth-nose protection, from the 15th year of age an FFP-2 mask must be worn.

These regulations are subject to possible changes by the Austrian Federal Government.

HOW IS ACCESS CONTROLLED?

There are separate access control points at the main entrances to the Musiktheater and the Schauspielhaus, as well as in the Musiktheater underground car park.

Please already have your proof of admission ready here.
