UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION AND MEASURES FOR YOUR VISIT TO THE Performance | Better safe than sorry

Dear visitors,

we are back on the boards that mean the world! After months of silence, we are very happy that we can start the new season. A season that is all about freedom - a freedom that is essential, because culture is not a luxury but an important asset for our society. The period of lockdown has made us all painfully aware of how quickly something we have grown to love is no longer tangible. The many feedbacks in the last months have shown us how much you have missed us. But we can assure you: We too have missed you and above all the personal encounters!

In order that these encounters can take place again in the coming season, we would like to prepare ourselves for a visit to the theatre and concerts that will take place in a slightly different way than usual, so that you can enjoy a safe and relaxed visit to the theatre.

The following adaptations regarding the theatre visit are valid until further notice and may also change - depending on the current legal situation.

We are aware that we are starting into a season that will be somewhat different than usual. But already now we would like to thank you, our audience, for your participation and understanding!

Yours, Landestheater Linz

ARE SEATS KEPT FREE BETWEEN THE VISITORS?

Yes! to ensure that we can maintain the necessary minimum distance in the autditorium, seats next to you or your visitor group (e.g. spouses) are automatically kept free when you purchase your ticket(s). We kindly ask you not to change the seats you have purchased on site.

WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO GET TO MY SEAT?

In order to guide our visitors through the theatre in the most pleasant way possible, we will ask you to use the entrances provided for your seat when you arrive at the theatre. Once inside the theatre, follow the signs. Should you have any questions, our highly trained staff will of course be happy to answer them. All with the aim of avoiding disorderly traffic jams as far as possible.

We kindly ask you to use the toilets and catering facilities provided for your rank.

HOW DO I BEHAVE UNTIL I TAKE MY SEAT?

As soon as you enter the theatre, we ask you to use your mouth-nose protection and the disinfectant dispensers provided. For your own protection, we kindly ask you to keep sufficient distance from other visitors.

A mouth and nose protection must be worn during the entire visit to the theatre, including during the performance.

If you do not have a mask with you, please contact our staff. Your safety is very important to us, which is why we have masks ready for such cases. Until further notice, you are allowed to take your jackets or overgarments into the auditorium. The cloakrooms are still available. If you have the possibility to leave your jackets and coats in the car, we kindly ask you to use them.

WILL THERE BE A CATERING BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE AND DURING THE INTERMISSION?

It was our personal concern to be able to offer catering before the performance (from 1.5 hours before the performance begins) and during the intermission. Together with the operator of the Café Volksgarten and the interval bar, we have developed a concept to avoid congestion and waiting times.

To do this, we need a little bit of your goodwill: if you would like to consume something before the performance or during the intermission, please reserve a table by sending an e-mail to musiktheater.pause@don.at or by calling +43 (0)732/76 11-959 (Monday to Sunday from 1pm to 5pm). Please place your order before the performance begins, also for consumption during intermission. Due to current regulations, it is unfortunately not possible to offer a bar during the intermission.

Your drinks will be paid for in cash or by card on the spot and you can enjoy your glass of sparkling wine in peace. The only important thing is that you stay in the bar area designated for your rank (please make sure you have your tickets ready for this purpose when making your reservation). Signage is available on site and our public service is at your disposal for information.

HOW MAY I LEAVE THE HALL?

Before the intermission as well as after the performance, the staff of our staff will ensure that you leave the auditorium in an orderly fashion and in rows.

WHERE CAN I PAY THE TICKETS FOR THE PARKING GARAGE?

A visitor-friendly adaptation was also important to us here. From now on, you will only be able to pay for your parking ticket in the Music Theatre's underground car park at the parking machines (directly at all entrances to the theatre). Please pay for your ticket when you arrive or during intermission at one of the ticket machines. From two hours before the performance begins until a maximum of 6 hours parking time, the special rate for theatre visitors of € 4.00 remains unchanged. As soon as your parking ticket has been paid, the barrier will open automatically when you leave the garage, and you can get home quickly and easily.
