Security for your visit to the Theatre

UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION AND MEASURES FOR YOUR VISIT TO THE Performance | Better safe than sorry

Dear visitors,


we have been back on the boards that mean the world since 19 May 2021. And we look forward to welcoming you back personally in all our houses!


In order for these encounters to take place, we would like to prepare you for your visit to the theatre and concerts with the following information, so that you can experience a relaxed, enjoyable and at the same time safe evening with us. Please also plan a little more time than usual for your visit and come to our performances a little earlier. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding!


The following regulations apply until further notice and may also change - depending on the current legal situation.


Your Landestheater Linz

THE MOST IMPORTANT AT A GLANCE


The 3-G Rule

Entry to all venues of the Landestheater Linz is only possible for persons with proof of vaccination, a valid negative COVID-19 test certificate or proof of recovery. Please be sure to book an appointment for your testing in good time.


FFP2 mask obligation

Wearing an FFP2 mask is compulsory during the entire visit to the theatre, i.e. also during the performance.


Distance

A space must be kept free next to you or between groups of visitors in the auditorium - this free space is automatically provided by the theatre. Please keep a distance of one metre from the seats to other persons or groups of persons who do not come from your household or belong to your group of visitors.


Hygiene

Please use the disinfectant dispensers provided.


Ticket sales

The law provides for compulsory registration for all visitors. Tickets will be sold sold on a personalised basis. A seat will automatically be kept free next to you or will automatically be kept free. Please do not change your purchased seats on site.


Cloakroom

You are allowed to take your jackets or overclothing into the hall.

The cloakrooms are also available.


Intermission / Catering

Please reserve your table in the foyers of the Music Theatre in advance at musiktheater.pause@don.at or by telephone on +43 (0)732/76 11-959.


Toilets

Please use the toilets provided for your tier.

THE 3-G RULE - VACCINATED, TESTED OR RECOVERED

 


VACCINATED

 

 

 

 

If you have already been vaccinated and your first vaccination was given more than 21 days ago, you can visit all of our of our performances, even without an additional test. Example: You received your first vaccination on 27 April 2021. you received your first vaccination. This means that a visit to the theatre is possible from 19 May 2021.

As proof of the vaccination, you must bring and present appropriate evidence such as a vaccination certificate or vaccination card.



TESTED

 

Please be sure to book an appointment in good time (preferably one week before the performance) at one of the public testing locations or at a pharmacy.

The following tests are permitted and valid:

- PCR test | Not older than 72 hours

- Authorised antigen test | Not older than 48 hours

(e.g. free of charge at "Österreich testet" in your pharmacy or in one of the test centres)

- Authorised self-test | Not older than 24 hours


Self-tests must be recorded in an official data processing system of the federal states. This requires registration is required - at selbsttest.ooe.gv.at. Private self-tests without this registration, without registration and without the corresponding confirmation may not be recognised.

For children over 10 years of age, school tests also count as entry tests; under 10 years of age, no entry test is required.



RECOVERED

If you have contracted COVID-19 and have recovered, you are exempt from testing for six months from the time of recovery. When you visit us, please also present us with the relevant proof, such as a certificate of isolation or a doctor's confirmation of an infection confirmed by molecular biology confirmed infection.


Proof of neutralising antibodies is valid for three months from the date of testing.



HOW IS THE 3-G-CHECK CARRIED OUT?

Separate 3-G-checkpoints have been set up in front of the main entrances to the Musiktheater and the Schauspielhaus as well as in the underground car park of the Musiktheater. Please have your proof ready here.

TICKET SALEs

As before, tickets will be sold in personalised form with disclosure of identity. We ask you to refrain from passing on tickets or subscriber cards. Random identity checks may be carried out by the theatre staff. In this case, please always take an official photograph with you. This is for your own safety and allows the authorities to follow up in case of suspected illness.


In the event of symptoms of illness, we request that you refrain from attending the theatre out of consideration for your fellow human beings.

ARE SEATS KEPT FREE BETWEEN THE VISITORS?

Yes! to ensure that we can maintain the necessary minimum distance in the autditorium, seats next to you or your visitor group (e.g. spouses) are automatically kept free when you purchase your ticket(s). We kindly ask you not to change the seats you have purchased on site.

WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO GET TO MY SEAT?

In order to guide our visitors through the house as pleasantly as possible, we will ask you to use the entrances provided for your seat when you arrive at the theatre. Once inside, follow the signs. If you have any questions about this, our highly trained staff will of course be on hand to help. All with the aim of avoiding disorderly congestion situations as best as possible.

HOW DO I BEHAVE UNTIL I TAKE MY SEAT?

As soon as you enter the theatre, we ask you to use your FFP2 mask and the disinfectant dispensers provided. For your own protection, we kindly ask you to keep a safe distance from other visitors. An FFP2 mask must be worn during the entire visit to the theatre, including the performance.


If you do not have a mask with you, please contact our staff. Your safety is very important to us, which is why we keep masks available for such cases. Until further notice, you are allowed to bring your jackets or overgarments into the hall. The cloakrooms are still available. If you have the possibility to leave your jackets and coats in the car, please use it.

WILL THERE BE A CATERING BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE AND DURING THE INTERMISSION?

Catering before the performance (from 1 hour before the start of the performance) and during the intermission is possible again in the Musiktheater from 10 June. Together with the operator of Café Volksgarten and the interval bars, we have developed a concept to avoid congestion and waiting times.

To do this, we need a little of your cooperation: if you would like to consume something before the performance or during the intermission, please reserve a table by sending an e-mail to musiktheater.pause@don.at or by calling +43 (0)732/76 11-959 (Monday to Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.). Please place your order before the performance begins, also for consumption during the intermission.

Your drinks will be paid for on site in cash or by card and you can enjoy your glass of champagne in peace. You will find signage on site and our audience service will be happy to provide you with information.

We ask for your understanding that due to the applicable distance rules in the foyers in our houses on the Promenade, unfortunately no refreshments can be served during the intermission.

HOW MAY I LEAVE THE HALL?

Both before the interval and after the performance, our audience service staff will ensure that you leave the auditorium in an orderly manner and in rows, so that you get home safe and sound.
